Taung Agricultural College, in partnership with NWAFASA (North West African Farmers Association South Africa), hosted a vibrant and impactful Open Day that brought together students, farmers, agribusinesses, and community members.
The event was a celebration of innovation, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration in the agricultural sector. Visitors were treated to:
- Exhibitions from agribusinesses, cooperatives, and commodity value chain chambers.
- Practical demonstrations and workshops showcasing modern farming techniques, agri-tech innovations, and sustainable farming solutions.
- Student presentations that highlighted groundbreaking research and creative agricultural projects.
- Networking opportunities where young farmers, industry leaders, and stakeholders exchanged ideas and forged meaningful connections.
- Career guidance sessions that inspired learners to pursue careers in agriculture.
The Open Day was more than just an exhibition—it was a powerful platform to empower the next generation of agricultural leaders and reinforce the role of agriculture in building food security and economic growth.
